For over 25 years, Anthony Paular has built a design career in support of educational publishing. Most recently, he served for 7 years as the Design Director for SAGE Publishing where he led an award-winning design team. In this capacity, he successfully integrated the design departments of SAGE’s Corwin and SAGE US divisions, co-art directed the consolidation of global SAGE branding, oversaw the development of print and digital design solutions for product, branding, and marketing, and built a thriving India-based extension in support of SAGE’s UK and US Design teams. Anthony was also the Corwin Press Art Director for 8 years — a role in which he and his team won industry awards for their designs.
Prior to his SAGE work, Anthony had hands-on and design management experience at Hampton-Brown and Frank Schaffer Publications. At those companies, he designed, project-managed, or art directed award-winning products for K-5 textbooks and the teacher retail store market.
